The right to bear arms. Well in this day and age, with the speed of communication, there is no need for people to hide behind this amendment. At the time this amendment was ratified many people were afraid of an unruly takeover by a foreign country. Also, during this time the military was no really a military, it was a militia of private citizens with their own guns.
Who would want the above guy walking around with a sniper rifle? Rick Perry stick to politics and leave the shooting to the actual marksmen.
Guns don't kill people, People kill People. This has been the mantra of the NRA since their inception. Eddie Izzard had it right "I think the gun helps."
